Similarities with Heathcliff/Hindley/Catherine Earnshaw
Differences from Heathcliff/Hindley/Catherine Earnshaw
TS:Hareton resembles heathcliff because of their actions. many of Hareton's actions are deliberately reminiscent of Heathcliff's.
Evidence: after linton's death, hareton wants to be 'presentable' for the young Catherine,
and allows Zillah to tidy him up, in exactly the same way that heathcliff asked nelly to
"make me decent" for Catherine Earnshaw.

evidence: there are many a times whereby heathcliff attempted to make him grow crooked but
he emerged to be stronger, tender and constant. he seems to have an innate desire for civilization and culture, like his parents.
